NSW Ski Gardens is situated on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. Every October - April is our peak time and its busy! Please be aware there is river noise during our busy times on weekends so may not suit those looking for tranquillity on weekends. During the week it's fine but weekends are busy and a bit noisy. We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location. Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable). BBQ and covered picnic area. Dogs are welcome on leash. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.

200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the camping area. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. All sites are walking distance to a composting toilet. Showers are near the entry to the camping areas of the farm, behind the green water tank. Good phone reception everywhere. Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day. No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum. 5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station. 10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra. Beautiful property, nestled in the Colo Valley, next to the pristine Colo River. We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well-suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large with varying distance between each to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, with conditions, and a $20 fee applies. Please check with Hosts before booking. Once approved, please add the Pets Extra when booking. (Saturday night 2-night minimum) There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers! ALL waste is to leave with you! There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads. The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 4 days a week Thurs-Sun, just 10kms up the road providing last-minute supplies, ice, bottle shop, and cafe services. Please note: Due to our location bookings may be canceled at short notice in times of bad weather due to flooding, limited access, fire or flood warnings. We trust you will understand we are only looking out for your safety and of course, Hipcamp credits will be arranged.

The Flat is a little piece of paradise central to everything in the area. Kate was easy to deal with. The communication was great. She was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend a visit here without hesitation.

Wandy Donkey Camp was a fantastic spot for tent camping. Beautiful scenery and the large paddock meant it felt very private even with other campers sharing the space because everyone was able to spread out. Kate was an excellent host. Unfortunately we didn't meet the donkeys on this visit but will hopefully be back!

Kate and Dave were the most amazing hosts and the Camp was the best we’ve stayed at! The different camperes were placed far apart so it felt like we had the entire ground to ourselves - and we were placed so we were looking right at the cows which was amazing. In the morning we were able to meet and pet all the animals on the farm which was an amazing experience ❤️ Fuerthermore they were amazing at showing us the stingrays and how to feed them. Again thank you so much both of you! We definitely recommend this camp😃 Best regard Cathrine and Victor

We spent 2 nights at paddock, and the experience is amazing. Kate met us at the gates and recommended local hotspots. ( the hot shower at the service station is a good one, life saver after couple days of camping!) We will definitely come back!

Perfect campsite—especially if you’re over busy caravan parks! We stayed for two nights during our road trip from Melbourne to Sydney and absolutely loved the experience at Kate’s land. The sites are beautifully spaced out, giving plenty of privacy and room to truly enjoy nature. It feels secluded, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing—even better than expected. Kate was super responsive, and Dave greeted us on arrival to make sure we were all set. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved staying at The Flat. The grounds were beautifully prepared and so clean. Grass was soft underfoot and the pathways thoughtfully mown. My daughter and I delighted in exploring the little teatree forests and the creek beds. Particular fave was feeding the animals and patting the donkeys. Kate was generous with her time and spirit. Would recommend highly and we’d love to come back!

We had a great experience camping at DeView. Yara was fantastic. She was very accommodating and lovely person. Campsite was awesome. Kids enjoyed playing with water in the Colo River. I would definitely recommend going there.

We spent one and a half weeks at Yara's place and it has become our favourite camp ground. Beautiful spot, close to the pristine Colo River, spacious but secluded and private. Toilets are well maintained and clean, hot water showers. As for Yara, she was fun, engaging and inspiring to talk with. She meets each newcomer with a smile and advice how to camp and farewells them with a wave of her hand. We highly recommend this place and we'll visit again.
