If you love camping, fishing & kayaking, you'll love it here! Welcome to our 170 acre property with approx 1 km of Deua River frontage. Lovely grassy campsites by the water. Want to throw a line in? The river is tidal and we are located where the freshwater meets the salt making for some interesting fishing, fresh and saltwater fish have been caught here. We offer peaceful dog-friendly camping. There are no amenities so campers must be self- contained and leave no trace. Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place and firewood available to purchase by the wheelbarrow load (see extras). Good access - tents, camp trailers, campervans & caravans all are welcome as long as you have own toilet. Our farm is home to some beef cattle, horses, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, & pet guinea pigs . We also have an abundance of wildlife including wombats, possums, kangaroos and many native birds & some reptiles.

Peace and quiet
Such a beautiful spot by the river. We had the place to ourselves for the weekend. We have been there numerous times before and great to see the cows had their babies again running around the paddock . Thanks Sue and Andy for another great weekend.

Our quick getaway
Beautiful, we highly recommend this farm's campgrounds. We had site 3 and the entire place to ourselves. Sue met us on arrival and escorted us to choice of sites, she suggested she'd close the gate to prevent any curious cows from bothering us (actually its a good idea to keep the gate shut considering we lay our solar panels out on the ground). A lovely contemplative surroundings with the river running, whispers of the wind through the pine trees, cows mooing, sheep bleeting and native birds singing. We ventured to the river quite often, to sit or wander on the exposed river at low tide, the river seemed too alluring to ignore with its cool refreshing breezes especially when the day was hot, to watch the activity of the ducks and the sheep grazing on the banks opposite. Relaxing. Caught no fish but had fun trying 😊 Plenty of clear sky for stargazing and solar, with plenty of shade for hotter days. We'll be back, ideal for us as not far from home, Sue's place has what we need.

Site 1A - Overflow
Had a great weekend, plenty of room not crowded in with other campers. It was lovely walking along the river, watching the farm animals. Directions to get there were easy to navigate. I will definitely go and stay again.

Relax by the Deua river
We caravan camped on site 3 on Sue's beautiful camping area by the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. Fishing and swimming were on offer but we didn't do any this trip. Property is close to town if supplies are needed. Sue is a friendly and obliging host. I would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Site 3 - Riverfront Campsite
Beautiful peaceful spot on the river. Close enough to town to explore (and for dump point) but feels very remote and private. Kids loved exploring the water and having a camp fire for dinner. Owners were lovely. Thank you.
