Welcome to Meringo Beach Camp! Located on 100 acres of private beach-front farm land, this camp is perfect for couples, families and friends looking for privacy, basic camp facilities and direct beach access. Enjoy the beautiful South Meringo beach, Honeymoon and North Meringo beach a short stroll away. Your campsite is surrounded by beautiful red gum trees. It features a shared bush shelter complete with a BBQ, solar powered lighting, and tables for meals. You will also have access to simple amenities, that use spring-fed dam water. Campers will need to bring their own drinking water. This site is on a working family-owned and run farm currently running sheep. It has long been a special gathering place for family and friends for more than 40 years, and is now available on Hipcamp. The camp also sits on the famous Bingi Dreaming Track, a beautiful coastal walk that stretches from Congo Beach to Tuross Head. Moruya is the closest town, a 15-minute drive away. Sydney is a four-hour drive, and Canberra a two-and-a-half hour drive. Meringo is located on the lands of the Yuin people, to whom we pay our respects.

Beautiful property and lovely hosts. Great communal area with Bench tables, bbq, utensils etc toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Close access to many beaches and lovely walking tracks. Need to be vigilant for ticks.

Great spot to camp, Will is a great host very welcoming, the toilet/showers are clean and great little undercover eating area, very close to the beach, plenty of fire wood and well spaced apart with other campers, Do be very AWARE of ticks, got riddled with them

Amazing site , great facilities nearby and the location is simply breathtaking. Flat open fields with a huge abundance of wildlife , I think we woke up one morning and had what felt like 100 kangaroos around us chilling out on the grass and a 800 m walk to a stunning beach just ticked off an amazing stay. The only downside I could think of for this location was the risk of Ticks which are in high numbers on this location so if you do book here, make sure to bring some repellent and be a bit more careful about your belongings being on the floor or the clothing you wear. Thanks again for a great stay !
