Welcome to Lady Winona's camp, a peaceful retreat nestled on two acres of scenic beauty in west Volusia County, just a short drive from Daytona Beach. Situated on a beautiful spring-fed lake, our camp offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Please note that our camp is currently in the early stages of development, so there are no bathroom facilities, electricity, or running water available on-site. However, if you're self-contained and seeking a rustic camping experience, this little slice of paradise is the perfect destination. For a low rate, you can enjoy the serene surroundings and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of our lakefront property. Take advantage of our canoe and rowboat to explore the tranquil waters, or simply relax and unwind on the shore. If you like to fish, there is the lake. Bring your own bait. Nearby, the charming town of Barberville is just three miles away, offering amenities and attractions for your convenience. And if you're feeling active, bring along your badminton equipment for a friendly game on our spacious grounds. Please be mindful of our peaceful atmosphere and respectful of our neighbors, who are located a comfortable distance away. Noise complaints are not welcome here, as we strive to maintain a quiet and serene environment for all guests to enjoy. While we continue to improve and expand our amenities, we invite you to experience the tranquility of Lady Winona's camp and create memories that will last a lifetime. DeLeon Springs state park is only a couple of miles away. They have a very unique breakfast there. Check it out while you are here.If you are self contained, this is a lovely spot. It is two acres on the west shore of Lake Odum. We have an eight foot fence. There is a cow pasture across the street. . We have no water except the lake. We have no pads. We have no electricity. We have shady spots and sunny spots. We have a rowboat and a canoe. Bring your own life vest. In the photos there is a survey. Look at the survey. Spot one is the north west corner. Spot three is the north east corner. Spot two is half way between those two on the north border. Spot one is shady. Spot three is sunny. Spot two is shady after three in the afternoon. Spot four is the south west corner . Spot six is the south east corner Spot five is halfway between four and six on the south border. North is the top of the map. East is the right side of the map. West is the left side of the map. There is a arrow pointing north on the map. Four five and six are very shady. The lake is to the east. There is a paved road in front of Lady Winona's Camp. If you travel north on that road, it turns to dirt. If you book with us, get directions from me, not your GPS.

I liked that I could pretty much park where I pleased with no close neighbors.

Great Spot
23 ft campervan
Great spot if you are self contained. Convenient for De Leon Springs. This is a primitive campsite by a lake. Assume there are gators. We didn’t encounter any but we did not go looking. If you have a dog, clean up after them, others before us did not. Super quiet peaceful week. The surrounding area is agricultural, cows, and nice homes. Pack in, pack out. Not buggy, which was nice. Beware of the ants. Got zipped by surprise attack. Ants were attracted to my generator. Was bitten when I went to move it. Place your generator on a mat. Not suitable for big rigs as it is tight getting in. Overall a fantastic spot!

Wonderful

Camping here was great. Quiet, private, pretty, had the best sleep with the sounds of wildlife around me. There was only one other group there briefly and they were on the opposite side of the lot so plenty of space and privacy. Gate had a lock so I felt safe at night even when I was alone for days. There's a communal firepit, some tables and chairs, and 2 kayaks to take out on the water. Host came by and introduced himself, was very kind, and gave me a lot of recommendations for local attractions. I checked them all out and they were great. Be self contained, there's no hookups or bathrooms here, but there is a garbage can. Don't bathe in the lake, there's gators.

I have stayed quite a bit around Pierson as I do work here 3 to 4 days a week. This is the first camp I actually got a peaceful night's sleep. I highly recommend staying there and will be booking again next week.

Quiet space for self contained campers. The wildlife is the loudest thing about this place, youll hear all types of cool critters throughout the day. Lake is beautiful and they have a kayak to take out on the water, but there's crocs so I definitely don't recommend swimming or bathing in it. The host was very kind and came around to introduce himself and do some handiwork around the space. The spaces aren't marked and there was one other party here but we claimed opposite sides of the lot and had plenty of privacy. Started my reservation with a day and extended it to a week.
