It is centrally located - only 2 minutes drive from the shops on a lush 42 acre property featuring tropical gardens, and 2 freshwater dams. Baffle Creek Camping Midskinrick

Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. Midskinrick has 7 large family sized powered sites with a firebox available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, but fresh water is available for drinking. Additional $10 per night for power. Midskinrick has 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firebox available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firebox - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Hot showers are available near the dam area for a small fee. There is no option to add power here. Strictly unpowered. Close to Lake Awoonga (4km drive) for fishing and all other aquatic activities along with a great barramundi stocked impoundment.There is a large undercover area with tables and chairs, flushing toilets and hot showers and designated campfire area. We are pet friendly, "ONLY ONE DOG PER SITE" and must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770. Our property runs on rain water and On-tap drinking water is available in the camp kitchen. If you are looking to escape from the crowded caravan parks, you will love our piece of paradise.

Wrinkles camp is only one site, so no neighbours, with over 10 acres to access other areas for walking or bird watching. We have horses and cattle and it is a quiet and peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful van site or can pitch a tent, with toilet, shower, lights and electricity, all under a fully paved shed with seats. Enjoy a great fire pit in front of shed, with hand made log seats. Well behaved dogs allowed on a leash, as we have dogs and other animals on property The single campsite (yes just the one site) overlooks a large dam with jetty. Horses and cattle roam around out the back. Feed the wild birds such as duck, parrots, kookaburras, and more. Just 5 minutes from Smiths Crossing for fresh water fishing, canoeing or swimming or go to Moore Park for a swim, surf or take the bike and use their great cycling paths. Other beaches close by are Miara, Norval Park and further away are Winfield, Baffle creek and the iconic Agnes Waters and 1770. All great spots to fish or crab. The Avondale Pub is 1km away with great meals and drinks, and the Bucca Pub is 10 minutes away with weekend entertainment. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. All this at your fingertips or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet in amongst the large gum trees and native lemon scented gums. Please note: no late arrivals after 6pm please.
