If you are looking to bring your bicycles or horses to ride the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, we are 1.7km from the entry point. We have two yards with shelters if you are bringing horses. Valoros Arabians is 1.7km from the centre of town, which has a small grocery store, a service station/takeaway shop, a pharmacy and pub; where you can get a delicious meal and if you come at the right time; a live band! This is a working farm with horses, free-range chooks and other animals. Please ensure your dogs are contained if they’ve not been introduced to other animals. Visit the iconic Ambulance Museum that tells the story of Ambulance services in Queensland. We are within easy reach of Highland Falls which has some great walking tracks and view points of the falls. Pets are also permitted in this bushland area but must be on a leash. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. I am happy to share my love for this property and welcome travellers to enjoy the tranquillity of the riverside and enjoy some of the walks and other features of the area. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Wild Honey Cafe is 5 min up the road and do great coffee and food open from 06:30am -02:30pm Tuesday - Sunday. Right next to the cafe is The Clock and Bull Brewhouse/restaurant which is due to open soon. The Historic Farmers Arms is just up the road if you want a cold drink or a great counter meal with a country atmosphere. There are some great cafes in Highfields and Monty Brewing Company is definitely worth a visit. There are Markets in Cabarlah on the last Sunday of every month and there is the Toowoomba Farmers Markets every Saturday plus lots of other local markets. If there is some fishermen/women in your group Campfire Farms is only 17min from Cooby Dam and 45min from Cressbrook Dam. Both of our dams are also stocked with Yellow Belly, Silver Perch and there is an abundance of Yabbies. We are more than happy to show people around and let you experience the farm with us.     We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Set amongst the shady trees overlooking the dam, with resident wood ducks, the property will take you back to yesteryear where you can escape with nature. Enjoy afternoon sunsets with a beverage across the fields, whilst taking in views to the famous Bunya Mountains. Wide open skies sit over the pastures with beef cattle, sheep, and horses grazing. Meet our resident peacocks, chickens , ducks and guinea fowl and escape the hustle. Enjoy fresh farm eggs from the chickens and when in season, pick kalamata olives from the trees that line the stables and camp kitchen. The property boasts an elegantly restored country estate homestead which overlooks the orchard growing seasonal fruit for picking, including cherries, peaches, nectarines, pears, mulberries, and citrus. After a day of adventure on the farm or up in the mountains, unwind at your campsite and discover the perfect blend of nature and history at our unique outback retreat.     'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only. Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking. We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers. Portaloo toilet available at the campsite. Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed. Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. Please let us know they are coming as well.

    Anduramba Bush Camping is situated on a 320 acre property south of Blackbutt. The campsite is on top of a hill with 360 degree views. It's rough and remote with limited facilities, so it's not for everyone. Most people who stay usually fall into one of 2 categories - - 4WD'ers or adventure bike riders who would rather camp overnight in the bush instead of at a caravan park or pub - People who just want a weekend away in the bush with some mates, chilling round a fire with a few drinks If either of those sound like you, I think you'll love it here! There's 2 options to choose from - you can book the campsite only, or the cabin which is located at the same spot. Property features - - Great views - Dogs welcome (just don't let them wander) - Portaloo (flushing) + drop toilet (non flushing) - Shower hut (uses shower bags) - Water available 500m away - Firewood available - Good phone reception (Telstra) - 2WD accessible via Esk or Crow's Nest, 4WD recommended from Blackbutt - I only accept one group at a time, so you'll have the place to yourself The cabin has 12V lighting and a bunk bed with mattresses (double bottom, single top), you'll need to bring your own bedding. A few other notes - - be aware you'll have to drive on gravel roads for quite a distance. 2WD vehicles can get here, but a 4WD is preferable - This is not a 4WD park or a ride park.     We have 3 private campsites located near a dam for your enjoyment.   There is the good mix of shade provided by trees as well as open sunny areas. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own toilet, shower, and water. (There are no facilities on site) Large open area for outdoor activities. Pets welcome however must remain on leash. Not to chase horses or wildlife. *Please notify us if bringing a dog*  Please note, we are an active hobby farm and as such you may hear the tractor etc in the distance as we do odd jobs around the farm. Please do not feed the horses as some have strict dietary requirements. Please leave the campsite as you found it for the next camper. Fires permitted in fire-rings provided or in an above ground firepit. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use. No parties or large gatherings, but happy for small family groups. Perfect location for a quick weekend getaway from the city. Only 40 minutes from Brisbane and a short distance off the Warrego Highway.   Things to do - Fishing  - Kayak or Swimming in the dam is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks - The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions.  - Follow the walking trails for bush walks to spot the wallabies, kangaroos and some beautiful birdlife. - Kids can ride their bicycles along the trails. - Ewenique hobby farm is located roughly 500m up the road, great animal farm for kids to enjoy.  - Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports
