There are lots of attractions nearby, including top class wineries and restaurants, the Warburton walking trail, fantastic mountain bike trails, the Redwood Forest, Kirth Kiln State Park, Bunyip State Park, Mt Donna Buang and the lookout, Ship Rock Falls, 7-acre Rock, Noojee Pub, Cunninghams Pub, Wesburn Pub and Wesburn RSL. We really enjoyed our stay. The horses were beautiful to watch, and the campsite was clean and well maintained. Our little white dog even went home looking cleaner than we expected! He also became great friends with Jenny’s dog, which absolutely made our day. Thanks for hosting us, Jenny - we’ll definitely recommend your place and we’d love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre. Being surrounded by such beautiful countryside, horses, roos and rabbits, it was beyond relaxing. We had a couple of great nights around the fire too. Jenny was the perfect host, taking care of us and chatting whilst our doggos played. Jenny's doggo, Whiz, is gorgeous. We'll definitely be back when we're exploring the Yarra Valley again. Highly recommended.

The serenity and lovely kept grounds at Mira Mira was perfect for my off grid rebalance with nature in my camper van Nic the host was friendly and happy for me to stay another night and build my own campfire. What a fascinating property with some very quirky buildings! Nic was a lovely host. I camped at the lakeside spot. Flat and clear enough area at the time I was there. If you are looking for someone quiet and out of the way, note that there can still plenty of sound and movement from cars and guests due to proximity to other accommodation and public/private roads, plus property lighting.

We had a wonderful time at the Winery Paddock. You could see the water from the paddock and we had some very large hay bails in the middle to act as a wind break if needed. The field is exposed so bring your own shade if it’s going to be hot. We also had shared use of a bin and hose with clean water. Access to the winery was easy and made for a great activity with the kids. Richie was super helpful and great to deal with- he even took the kids for a tractor ride. Would recommend to large family groups or people just wanting to see the island without hoards of other campers.

Great spot to discover Phillip Island. Large grass space with nothing but nature around, spotted plenty of kangaroos and bunnies. Richie and Sharon are great hosts, would definitely recommend and repeat a stay with them.

I had a fantastic stay at Mira Mira Lakeside Camping. The setting was absolutely picturesque and Nic, our fabulous host warmly welcomed us at the gate and personally guided us to the secluded and beautiful camp spot. I was thrilled that our dogs were welcome, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And the hot shower and toilet facilities in the quirky castle were appreciated! This place is a true gem for anyone seeking tranquility, creative inspiration and a personal touch.

Large secluded plots per camper/group camping. Each one fenced off with trees. Enjoyed great sunset/sunrises, wide open skys and the distant sound of surf during the night. Ritchie is a great host, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the back paddocks for the self sufficient camping experience on Phillip Island
