Explore Bendigo Regional Park or venture up to the One Tree Hill lookout area, there are plenty of hiking trails in the National park and bike trails throughout the area. Located on a vacant paddock, close to the heart of town and on the Midland Highway. This property is great place to park up while you explore all this region has to offer. We are close to the town centre of Bendigo where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops for all your needs. There are public toilet facilities and park areas where you can access a BBQ if required. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Sorry, we are unable to allow pets or campfires at this time.

Approx 400 acres, mostly open grazing land, 25km north of Bendigo, nearby the Whipstick Forest area. Camp in a restful, private setting, surrounded by a wonderful vista of natural flora and fauna. The property is a working sheep grazing farm, with plenty of wide open space perfect for campers. We have several camping locations dotted around the property. All the vegetation is native to the area, predominately Blue and Green Mallees, with patches of Gray Box and Yellow Gum timber. Eastern Grey Kangaroos are known to graze on the native grasses that grow here. A number of bird species also populate the area, including Galahs, Magpies, Choughs, black and wood ducks etc. Nothing beats waking to birdsong and distant sheeps bleeting in the morning! Whipstick Forest is approximately 3km East of us, and has several beautiful walking trails. Spring, with its wildflower displays, is a particularly spectacular time to explore the area. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp loo, and take all waste with them. Pets may be accepted on occasion, but please check with the Host prior to booking as there are grazing sheep on the property. Generally, small pets only, that can be kept under control, and return to call.

Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep. The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost. Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer. Eastern Grey kangaroos and abundant bird life inhabit the land as do many other native fauna. Our property features interesting native flora including canoe/scar trees. We often have magnificent sunsets, so bring your camera. Enjoy campfires in the evenings. Campfires are permitted when not in fireban season, or according restrictions. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities. Alpacas are curious creatures that tend to turn up to investigate farm activity - it’s therefore likely that they will visit your camp. Pets on leashes are welcome.

Such a wonderful spot for a group camp or family getaway! Tony was so welcoming. He was great with our 4 year old and took him to see the cows and sheep. The property is large, really beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend waking around! The amenities were neat and there's different bits amd pieces to use eg ice maker, microwave. The pool was lovely for a cool down. The tennis court was a real hit too. Thanks so much Tony, we will be back!

This campsite was incredible. It was very clean and spacious. However it was particularly beautiful and peaceful with a friendly dog to round it off. This may be the perfect campsite if you’re looking for one with numerous ammenities.

We had a fantastic stay at Tony's farm. Beautiful shady spot next to the river. Kids loved the pool and tennis court and feeding thr animals. Handy to town. Clean bathroom facilities. Great hosting. Best of all we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

Tony was very helpful, had a miscommunication but he was very understandable. His land kept everyone busy, we would play tennis and set up a volleyball net for us to play volleyball in during the day. A lot of space for just us. Made use of his gas BBQ! our dogs loved exploring the land off leash also!

Absolutely beautiful spot, easy driving distance to Bendigo but we felt like we were so remote when we were back at camp which was exactly what we were after. There were about 4 or so other groups there but as the property is so large they were just a spec in the distance. The property provides great isolation, plenty of space so you are not camped right next to others. Unfortunately, it was very dry when we were there - no fault of Keiths, just a very dry summer. Lot of animals for the kids to see - kangaroos and sheep. Very close to Bendigo.

Absolutely loved the place ❤️ A lot to explore and a lot to play around for our family with 2 little kids under 4 and 2 dogs. a little dam with a little bridge to explore the middle island ( eventually you can use the boat to paddle around), the dogs loved to roll in the mud,a tennis court to play, ride a scooter and ride on car, large grass area to play with ball, run around and Tony the host dropped off a climbing dome for extra fun. A beautiful river and a clean bush to walk around, fishing and explore. To complete the experience cows, sheeps, goat and ducks roaming around, and we been able to feed them. Don't miss out the pool 😎 and the camp fire at night. Tony and his amazing dog have been such great hosts, super friendly, very accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Bendigo Beauty

If you plan on camping and going around and exploring Bendigo and returning to camp for sleep this is a cheap and very accessible option. It's close to the centre on town and a lot cheaper than the Gold Nugget. The owner Vincent is nice and his caretaker Ricky is very nice and helpful. They are really relaxed and really easy going. You are in a pasture so if you've never been on a farm this probably isn't you're kind of place unless you want a farm experience. The cows and camels are pets. My daughter played ball with the cows. This place is also good for a stopover if you've been driving a long distance. The Libety petrol station, to my surprise, made the best cafe/restaurant coffee I've ever had. If you plan on camping and remaining on the property to enjoy camping it might not be the place for you. Since it is on the main road you do hear the traffic as we choose the spot closer to the toilet. I'm a light sleeper so I hear everything. The grass was short in the pasture which if you're a camper is good. I can't speak about the back pasture as we never ventured to that side of property. It is flat. I did like the easygoing nature of the owner and caretaker which is half of staying and visiting a place. I could see the potential in this being a camping haven but I think the owner is trying to decide how'd he like to set it up and if he can work that out it'd only improve the spot.
