From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Weekend Trip to Hidden Beauty on Broken Creek

We loved our stay here ! We were treated warmly by Peter, and had a lot of room to set up our camp. Great access to toilets/showers/kitchen, and enjoyed the lovely site. Peter kindly showed us around the property, and we were able to feed the cow and sheep, and see the many other animals on their property. If you are looking for a farm stay, I would highly recommend !!!

9 nights at Hidden Beauty on Broken Creek

Carole and Peter are wonderful hosts. We stayed on site 2, which is elevated above the Broken Creek. This site is best for people towing a caravan. Site one would be a challenge to get into for people towing vans as it is down behind the homestead, by the broken creek. The amenities on the property were awesome (toilet, shower, washing machine). This is our 4th Hipcamp stay, and we weren’t disappointed. Highlights: The serenity, the farm animals, access to the Broken Creek, centrally located: 15 minutes to Benella, an hours drive to other regional centres.

Gary was a terrific host he couldn’t have done anymore to enhance our stay. We are newbies to caravanning and he assisted us with anything that we were unsure of. Our grandkids especially enjoyed the cow milking process and learning all about the cow and her breeding cycles. Of course the fresh milk was an added bonus. Thanks Gary

Really enjoyed staying at Eden Farm, compared to a caravan park the sites are massive. We had a powered site with good shading. It is a nice change to stay on a working farm. Gary is a wonderful host and is doing great things with sustainability. Highly recommend.

3 nights at Glenmaye Farm

We had a great time coming to Glenmaye Farm with our three young kids. We had a lovely tour from the get-go from Matine and Ben.The farm provided space and privacy and all the camp sites were segregated. Our kids loved riding their bikes on the dirt roads and hills. We also saw the cows and the horses every day and some even came close up to our camper. For new years we travelled to Shepparton which was a short distance and we got to celebrate New Years Eve with the fireworks at the festival in Mooroopna at the oval. Although there was minimal reception, it was exactly what we needed to switch off and focus on the amazing views Glenmaye farm has to offer. Thank you for having us Matine, we loved staying here and will be back again.

Carmel was welcoming and friendly and the campsite was lovely, quiet and secluded. The spaces were nice and big with shelters and fire pits, and the camp kitchen was perfect - it meant we didn't need to unpack a thing! The showers and toilets were clean and big. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds we fed with the birdseed left for campers to put out, and we loved the bench looking over to the wetlands! Thanks for a great spot Carmel.

This was the best Hipcamp property I have stated at. Ginnie and Garry were very responsive and met us on arrival. They are dog-friendly. The campsite had beautiful views and wasn't crowed at all - very generous spacing. But what stood out most were the facilities. There were actual flushing toilets (hand wash, paper towels and flannels were provided). There were two showers (with lost of hooks and shelves to put clothes etc. They supplied shampoo/conditioner. There was a kitchen and tea towels and soap/sponges were provided. There we picnic tables and undercover areas. All these areas were very clean. There was also a chest freezer of bags of ice to purchase on site, firewood and a fully stocked fridge/freezer/pantry with grocery items for sale via an honesty box. Not only that, this campsite was at least $20 cheaper per night than all the other campsites I have previously booked - including those with 0 facilities. Highly recommend this campsite.

We had a great stay at Ginnie’s Hipcamp. Super peaceful spot, heaps of space and a really beautiful setting. Ginnie was lovely and easy to deal with, which made everything simple. Perfect place to switch off and relax, we’d definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenmaye Farm! Our campsite felt spacious and secluded - Matine has done a great job of setting out the sites so that everyone can enjoy their own space and the stunning views of the surrounding property. Swimming at the waterfall was definitely a highlight, perfect on a hot summers day. Thanks for having us!
