Great location, facilities were clean and in good order. The lagoon/dam is very picturesque and there are even canoes and paddle boats available to use

Very friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful, relaxing location. Gas BBQ's and fire pits readily available. Firewood supplied at small cost. Most immaculately clean portable loo's we have ever seen. Close proximity to Cradle Mountain.

Scott was very helpful and the property was beautiful. We loved paddling around the dam and watching the fish jump, and there was plenty of space for us tent campers. We would go back if we were ever to visit Cradle Mountain again!

It's a perfect spot to visit cradle mountain national park. The campsite itself is situated on a beautiful little lake, which is perfect for a walk or a spot for fishing.

What a beautiful location and the perfect base to explore Cradle Mountain. So much wildlife, echidna, fish, native hens, black cockatoos. Gorgeous views over the dam to the forest beyond. The wheelbarrow of wood was great for our 3 night stay! Friendly, helpful hosts too. We loved our time there.

Nice quiet clean camp area, a bit on the $$ side really, for what is there, but its close to the NP ... so ... captive crowd.
Super welcoming host, well laid out sites overlooking 2 small lakes - and though it's only porta-loos, they are tidy and clean, with air freshner and hand soap.

Only 10 mins drive outside Cradle mountain - so accessible.
Platypus in the dam, little canoes & paddle boats for a great evening wind-down fun.
The cleanest camp-site toilets I’ve ever seen!!

What a spot! Super easy check-in and check-out. Scott was helpful and friendly. Facilities were clean and ready to use. Great place to set up camp after hiking on the mountain. Keep an eye out for the pademelons at night by the dam!

Cradle Mountain fisheries is a great campsite. The facilities are clean, fire pits at each site a wheelbarrow of wood at your disposal for $20. The view is fantastic over the lake and you are in close proximity to hike and explore cradle Mountain. I would fully recommend this to any other people travelling in the area. We had an amazing time. Thank you very much, Scott.

Scott was an excellent host: kind and accommodating. The amenities provided were awesome too, portable potties, plenty of fire pits, and additional things like a communal sink, kettles and benches! The land was very beautiful; it was fantastic to take a stroll around the lake and surrounding forest to immerse yourself near Cradle Mt.

Beautiful campsite with lots of level spots for pitching. Amenities are great with hot shower and proper outback kitchen and hang out set up. Great view through the trees to big possum beach.

We loved the camping with our dog. We were able to take waljs up into the forest with our dog.
Our host Scott was most friendly and kept the grounds and amenities very clean and tidy.
We watched fisher people catch trout, who were also very happy.
We based ourselves there spending 5 nights. The view across the lake and up the hill to the forest was fabulous.

we stayed for 3 nights. lots of space for rv, tents and camper vans. electricity available.
restrooms are very clean with plenty TP.
there is a sink to wash dishes with non potable water.
you can have camp fire .host has wood for $10 a bundle.
lots of nature and the little lake is full with fish - we can see them jumping.
we had a great stay and for sure will stay again if in the area..
one note: hipcamp says the camp has potable water. In actuality, the one main water source is NON potable water - you have to boil it. there are water bottles to buy for A$2 each.

Good setup, everything worked well and our site next to the dam was beautiful. We drove in 15 minutes to Cradle Mountain park to hike, and enjoyed coming back to the dam in the evenings and relax with a fire. Recommended.
