Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.

We decided to go to Christmas Creek bush retreat for our very first Caravan trip. My husband and I with our dog absolutely loved it. The sites were spacious with lots of room, not over crowded, and all sites face the beautiful Creek that is full of turtles, and has platypus (we didn't see them). We liked that it was off grid with no water or power as we wanted to try out our van to see how everything worked, and it was great. I would recommend this site if you want some peace and quiet. The whole site is so well maintained by the owners who live close by and it's an easy 40 minute drive from Beaudesert.

This was our first camping trip, and it was an amazing experience. The campsite is located right next to a small creek, which made it perfect for fishing and relaxing. The free kayak hire was a great bonus and made the trip even more fun. The host was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience, and we would love to come back again.

The site is very well maintained, very tranquil with the tree, wildlife and sound of running water through the place. Was good to do a little explore/walk of the creek and just relax under the stars. Shayne was very helpful with directions for us to get there and super accomodating. Not too long a drive out but felt like we were way out in the bush, no service and switched off for the stay. Was a lovely location with plenty of natural shade to utilise too. Will be back for sure :)

We loved the peace and tranquility as it was pretty quiet. The views were amazing. I would speak to Ben prior to booking to get the right spot if you would like a powered site due to the differences. For example we stayed on a large concrete slab due to having a 25 ft motorhome. Luckily it wasn’t windy so we didn’t have to tie down awning. If it was windy it would been hard to move it off the slab nearer grass due to electrical hook up.

Platypus Hole was a scenic, relaxing site, right on the river. Whilst we unfortunately missed seeing the platypus, the turtles were in abundance and mesmerising to watch, and we saw many other animals; including possums, kangaroos and stunning birdlife. The swimming hole was very enjoyable, we would definitely recommend staying here!
