Tyalgum Showgrounds offers both powered and unpowered sites, toilets, showers, drinking water, free dump point for campers and a camp kitchen. This is a recreation reserve camp ground run by volunteers - all money collected goes back to improvement of the facilities. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash. The Showgrounds can only offer a maximum of 7 nights.

Best camp experience
Best camp we stayed in our entire trip in Australia. Camp itself was beautiful. Beautiful views of the mountains and fields. At night, thousands of bats take flight for their nightly feeding. Also, if you’re lucky, a couple platypuses live in the creek. Best of all, Josh who runs the camp was super cool! Very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this place

What a fantastic place to spend a few days! A great camp ground. We booked a powered site and also had water connected and a dump point within the park. The caretaker could not have been more helpful. Very relaxed vibe! We had heavy rain during our stay but the well grassed sites made it super comfortable. The town did not let us down either .. a great licensed cafe with live music while ‘brunching’ and a pub that does ‘smoker’ meals on a Sunday. We’ll be back soon!

The facilities are first class. Plenty of space, quiet, nice drives, quant village, very humid and will return in Winter

Good grassy level site. Amenities block fantastic Construction work in progress installing more powered sites. Noisy & messy given the recent & daily storms, however, it will make the park better Enjoyed our 2 night stay & will definitely br back.
