Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra. In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firepit available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firepits - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). Lalapanzi is a private 17ha (40 acre) bush block with two dwellings and some ancillary buildings. The property is 10 km outside of Toowoomba in the Flagstone Creek valley. Lalapanzi Heights is a secluded semi-developed exclusive campsite about 400m away from the dwellings and a base for bush hiking, exploration, bird watching or just relaxing. Your bookings are exclusive, so once you have booked, the other sites are blocked off. 2WD accessible to parking area. 4X4 access to camp site in dry conditions at drivers own risk. The road is not suitable for caravans. Walk-in access approximately 400m uphill pathway. Campfires are not available during fire ban season. A limited amount of firewood is provided but it is recommended that you bring your own if you are staying more than one night. Dogs permitted on leash, but are not allowed in the Rondavel.

We recently stayed at this incredible Platypus Bush camp by the creek, and it was an unforgettable experience. The tree houses are absolutely magical—nestled in the trees with just the right mix of comfort and rustic charm. Ours had a spacious king bed that made it feel more like a boutique retreat than a campsite. The creek itself is the real highlight. The camp spots sit right along the water, giving you peaceful views and the calming sound of running water all day and night. Whether you're relaxing in a chair by the creek or waking up to the soft morning light filtering through the trees, the whole place feels serene and refreshing. Everything is well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. Such an amazing place! Everything you need is supplied even down to the pile of firewood for your stay! Comfy beds, hot showers and a great fire pit area and if you need to venture into town Toowoomba is only 15mins drive away . Rodger and Jenny were always happy to help with anything and great to have a chat with! Highly recommend this gem to anyone and everyone for a great few nights away in the peace and quiet.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campsite, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing stay. The host Colin and Katrina were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of animals on the property. We enjoyed interacting with their horse, geese, chickens, goats and even cute piglets and of course their playful dog! It was a delightful experience. Being off grid, the campsite offered a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The facilities were with a short walk from the cabin, clean toilets and showers that added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, this campsite provided a perfect escape, combining natural beauty, excellent amenities, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat. P.S. if you are into fossicking, you can enjoy the gold mines.
