    A beautiful spot on the Macquarie river to relax, fish, swim, enjoy a camp fire or a scenic paddle in the lovely fresh water . We have a beautiful recycled timber jetty which is the perfect place to wet a line or enjoy a glass of wine. You might even be lucky enough to see a platypus or echidna. We are 5km from Dubbo, 2km from Lazy River winery by road or 1km by river. Pets are welcome but will need to be restrained due to neighbouring livestock. Camping only available - tents or camper trailers.

    The Marthaguy Campground on 'Yarralla' is located on the Newell Highway 5 km south of Gilgandra - The town of the Windmills. 55 km North of Dubbo with easy access to the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo and 80 km South of the Warrumbungle National Park. The campground is 800m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping. The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty. The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town with a shelter shed with water over a sink and picnic table. Wood is available for a camp fire during winter months.

    This Homestead is set on 22 acres, just a short drive from the home of the Black Stump at Weetaliba, NSW. Camping under the stars is a must here as you are able to star-gaze at Australia's first Dark Sky Park. The homestead has 3 separate paddocks each with their own dam where you can have total privacy during your camp. Although you may have a visit from the resident sheep who graze the pastures (don't worry - they are friendly). A perfect place for bird watching an array of native birds including rosellas, cockatoos, and currawongs and you will hear the kookaburras every morning and evening. There are also kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas who roam the area. It's a beautiful place to snap a pic especially if you catch the morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets which are guaranteed to wow you. Do as little or as much as you want to on your stay. A perfect place to just unwind and take in the fresh country air and beautiful views. Stroll around the property and visit the old barn and some of the sheds and farming equipment that are scattered among the paddocks. You will have access to composting toilets or feel free to BYO facilities. Campfires are welcome in the pits provided, permitting there are no restrictions at the time of your visit. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are supervised and kept indoors at night. Being within 20 minutes to the local town of Coolah, it's a perfect stop over for an overnight stay or for a long weekend. You can easily duck into town to stock up on supplies or visit a good old country pub for a meal. We look forward to meeting you.

Rubyoaks is located just a 20 minute drive to Mudgee. 15 minutes to Windeyer and 15 minutes to Hargraves with local wineries, restaurants, Pubs, Museums and much more. This place makes a great base for you to explore the surrounding area. We do allow 2 camp sites in the one area but you will still have your own privacy and plenty of space for you to unwind and relax. Bins are provided at the camp (NO HUMAN WASTE) All toilet cassette waste must be removed from site.
