Camp in Mudgee
Peaceful campsite close to Mudgee
Sally and Richard were fantastic hosts and the property was beautiful. The campsites are spaced out well so you feel like you have a lot of privacy. Loved that the campsite had a fire pit and the property is close to Mudgee and all the wineries. Some of the campsites are a bit of walk to the toilets, this wasn’t an issue for us, but if being close to toilets is important to you, recommend asking Sally for a campsite close to these ahead of time. Would highly recommend old Bara and would come again 😊

View and star gazing
Sally and Richard were both very welcoming , showing us to our site, suggesting local places to visit as well as walks on the property. The views are amazing, during the day ( worth the walk up to the picnic table) and we were lucky with cloudless star-filled nights - a a lovely digital detox!
