We had a great stay at Hazelnut Valley. Bernie met us on arrival to welcome us and show us to our site. It was so peaceful with views of river, moutain bush, grazing cattle and all the wildlife that come with it all from our van. it was everything we were hoping for when booking.
If you like exploring quiet bush tracks by bike and don't mind hills there are some fantastic fire roads and trails near by which you can explore.
We were lucky enough to also have some fresh field mushrooms on site which made for a lovely breakfast.

Our recent stay at **Hazelnut Valley** was nothing short of fantastic! Located just about 25minutes from MOE. The farm offers a serene escape into nature. Upon arrival, the owner warmly greeted us, already prepared with the **fresh hazelnut products** we’d pre-ordered through their social media page—hassle-free and efficient!
The **Chestnut Corner** campsite was a highlight—tidy, picturesque, and nestled under a grand chestnut tree. We loved foraging for fallen chestnuts by day and roasting them over our evening BBQ. The gentle river flowing beside the site added tranquility, while the spacious, well-distanced pitches, ensured complete privacy—a great place for family camping!
Hazelnut Valley excels in thoughtful touches: clean facilities, a peaceful atmosphere, and a focus on natural beauty. Don’t miss their **homemade hazelnut butter**—creamy, sugar-free, and utterly delicious. It’s now a pantry staple for us!
This spot has earned its place as our all-time favorite campsite, and we’re already planning our return. Thank you, Hazelnut Valley, for a memorable, nutty adventure! 🌰✨
