We moved to this property after a year of searching for the perfect piece of land. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. The more we fell in love with the peace and quiet of the desert, the fresh air, and the breathtaking view of the stars at night, the more we wanted to share our oasis with others. We love camping and wanted to be surrounded by others who love it as much as we do! We know some people prefer pitching a tent and complete solitude while others prefer a getaway with a really comfy bed and all the comforts of home!
Whether you prefer to camp and would like hundreds of acres to yourselves or you would prefer to glamp in our private 80-acre tiny house village, we are here for you! Choose your adventure!
Learn more about this land:
Our land is surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and natural desert landscape. With plenty of surrounding vacant land and walking paths to explore, you will never get bored of the scenery. Get away from neighbors and stretch out as you'll have acres all to yourself. As if the daytime views aren't breathtaking enough, the sunsets light up the sky in cotton candy to bright tangerine hues and magnify the beauty of the mountains. The night sky sparkles with stars and constellations as we are a dark sky community with very minimal light pollution for miles. The sounds of the desert and wildlife help you to get the deepest sleep as there is very little man made noise in our area. You can hike, dirt bike, bring your off-road vehicles, explore our property and rock hound for as many quartz as you can carry! You may even catch a glimpse of some wild horses, cows, bulls, birds, hawks, jackrabbits, and roadrunners! Nearby attractions include Keeylocko Cowtown (self proclaimed historic town just acres away with a old western vibe and bar), Kitt Peak Observatory, Saguaro National Park, Old Tucson, and Downtown Tucson. If you are new to camping, we can also help provide you with some of the necessities you may have forgotten for a small additional fee (chairs, water, tents, blankets etc). We encourage you to ditch your phone and enjoy nature while you are here. You wont want to miss these views!
** Please let us know if you do not have 4-wheel drive and will be towing a trailer, if you have large RV, or a car that doesn’t manage well on dirt roads. We have multiple campsites with different accessibility and want to help you find the perfect spot for your vehicle!
Outstanding hosts! Beautiful, serene, quiet mountain locations. Absolutely indescribably beautiful sunsets and sunrises and overall area surrounded by mountains. Answered all my questions and we're very communicative, plus I purchased $10 worth of firewood from them which was easily 30 to 40 dollars worth anywhere else. I am definitely going to stay again as they have many different spots and if you want silence beautiful surroundings about half an hour from the highway, this is your place! Just watch out for Haywood Road because it is not always grated and it's pretty rough but any car can make it over. I took my Tab 320 travel trailer with my Tacoma and had zero issues. Absolutely wonderful getaway any amount of time!
We loved the Tiny Home and property. Enjoyed daily visits from Farm animals and the three ranch dogs were always excited to see us, greeting us each day we returned from hikes.
The nightly camp fires and star gazing were a relaxing end to the day.
Bethania and Brian were wonderful hosts. They struck the delicate balance of being there if you needed them, and being very welcoming, while also respecting your privacy. Their land is varied and beautiful. I saw wild horses every day of my stay which was magical. It is quite and remote and we enjoyed being able to safely have a campfire with the wood they provided. One little word of warning, the road to the property (we stayed at their first campsite) is rough washboard all the way. Even though we have an excellent AWD, and our Extreme Outoors LIttle Guy Max teardrop has high clearance, the interior of the trailer sustained a lot of damage on the drive. Trailers are delicate beasts and prone to damage, but we have done a lot of off-road camping and never had as much damage as this time. Probably some things were weakened before, but it is worth knowing to take it slowly and perhaps depending on road conditions and your rig, be mindful of which campsite you select. It is a lovely place to unplug from the world!!!
We loved this site! Upon arrival we were greeted by so many wild horses and throughout our two night stay we saw cows, javelina, jackrabbits and heard lots of coyotes! Site was well maintained and having firewood delivered was so convenient. Definitely bumpy washboard road to get there, but it’s worth it. Stars and Mountain View were unbeatable! 🤩
