Sugarloaf Campground
Description
Picture this: you’re standing just below the tree line at over 10,000 feet, gazing out at Wyoming’s Snowy Range. Mossy green trees thickly dot the landscape where you can catch a glimpse of several of the nearby lakes, no matter which direction you turn. Occasionally a fellow hiker passes near, but overwhelmingly it’s just the sounds of snow dripping, leaves crunching, and your own solitary breath. At Sugarloaf Campground—40 miles west of Laramie—you can finally achieve serenity now.
