Lost Creek campground is right off of State Highway 70, making it a solid choice if you want to get off of the road (though the road is quite scenic, and a destination in it’s own right).

The dominant form of vegetation here is grass, so you won’t have lofty trees to serve up privacy and shade. However, there’s plenty to keep you busy outside. Get your exploration on in the Huston Park Wilderness via the Baby Lakes Trail, get in some ATV riding along Forest Road 811, or pick your own adventure and see what you can find outside. The great outdoors awaits!

In 2017, Jonathan Boyer and his wife, Kimberly Coats, returned to their ranch in Wyoming. The YL was Jock’s childhood home. They had spent the previous decade in Rwanda running the Rwandan National Cycling Team. Jock’s boyhood dream has always been to return to the ranch and share its special gifts with friends and guests from around the world. The YL Ranch has been in the Boyer family since 1905. Jock and Kimberly look forward to welcoming you with their own unique style of warm Wyoming hospitality. The YL is open year-round and can accommodate up to 25-30 guests in summer and 20 in winter. Enter the YL and experience all the joys of ranch life and outdoor adventure – cycling (road, mountain, and gravel), fishing, tennis, swimming, and gourmet (sometimes fireside) meals.

We are located 4 miles from Routt National Forest. You'll arrive at the ranch headquarters and we will either take you to the sheep wagon or give you directions to it. The sheep wagon is nestled in an Aspen grove (on 56 acres) with a creek just 12 feet away. From there, you are 1/4 mile away from the national forest and the wilderness. There are thousands of acres to explore, either by hiking , biking or horseback riding. You are also just minutes away from great trout fishing lakes and streams. While here ask about ranch tours and visiting with our sheep, horses, cows and chickens! There will be cattle or sheep on the property with the sheep wagon. Please note that cell phone service is very limited in the area.
