Your own exclusive use private waterfall and private campground - have it all to yourself! A unique property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland featuring two cleared paddocks, rain forest, running creek with rock pools and a waterfall. Access is through a secured gate, so you can enjoy the privacy and serenity, all within a ten minute drive to town.
NEW AMENITIES: a portaloo & an outdoor shower/bath onsite, overlooking the creek. Pitch a tent or two, camp out in swags, or bring your campervan.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are expecting manicured paths, this is not the place for you. Apart from the cleared paddocks, the rest of this property is mainly in its natural state, so the walk to the waterfall is through an overgrown track, with lots of vines and rocks. It's an adventure just getting there. Not suitable for young children. No dogs. Bring the insect repellent.
We had a really enjoyable stay it’s a very peaceful setting with a nice little creek near the camp, and its not too far from the local town of Yandina which is very handy, plenty of room for campers to spread out, and the shower and toilet work well, the waterfall and swimming hole are amazing however the track leading to it could be greatly improved and the storage shed and maintenance equipment in the main camp area was bit of an eyesore in such a tranquil setting. No firewood was provided as advertised so we had to purchase some in Yandina, probably a little overpriced considering these few small things could be easily rectified.

Beautiful and secluded waterfall

This property was private and the waterfall stunning. The photos barely do it justice. Would come again, although may seek to avoid cicada mating season - the noise was deafening at times!

Thank you to Jacki and Leon for our stay over Christmas. We love it so much. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us but it was still a magical place to stay :)

2 days spent in this little piece of Paradise..
Directions and how to get into property were excellent .
We had the whole place to ourselves which made the stay even better .
The walk to the waterfall is easy ,as a storm had gone through the night prior so the waterfall was amazing . The photos don’t really show how beautiful this place is .
The care taker ( cow) kept to himself and paid us a visit every now again , but stayed mostly in the second paddock.
Highly recommend..
Can’t wait to stay again😃

Relaxing retreat
We had a great weekend stay at Waterfall Retreat. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful (apart from the birds!) - a really relaxing experience. We did the walk out to the waterfall, which did not disappoint! Appreciated the portaloo on site as well, which was clean and well-maintained.
