Big Eightmile Campground/Trailhead
Description
You’ll be welcomed by quiet mountain forests and flowing creeks when you venture a little off the beaten path to the Big Eightmile Campground. Smack dab in the middle of an isolated section of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, this modest campground sets you up with the basic amenities, but still has the quiet feel of a remote backcountry site. A collection of trails and dirt roads around the campground are perfect for the hikers or mountain bikers, while nearby Eightmile Creek Canyon and Dairy Creek Canyon are just begging to be explored.

This is a nicely shaded campsite with a good amount of climbing/bouldering nearby.
