Happy Campers
19 ft Class B
What a gem! Do yourself a favor and make this experience part of your story! After being greeted by the family pets and lambs, Cheri greeted us warmly and invited us to the local evening concert in town (which ordinarily we would have leaned into were we not looking forward to chilling in front of the spectacular sunset!)! Also this host was helpful in providing extension cords so we could recover our battery! The spot was level and grassy!

Great spot!
Great spot! Access to the river, they have sheep and water fowl which is cute. The campsite is within view of the house, so if you’re looking for something private, it may not be the best spot for you, but overall great stay!

Camping on the Lemhi River!
35 ft Class C
Tom and Cherie have a beautiful spot on the Lemhi River outside of Salmon, ID. Cheri met us at the top of the driveway and gave us a couple of options of places to park our RV. After settling in we met their lambs, adorable dogs, and took a walk down the path to the river. Tom and Cheri gave us an overview of the area and suggested some places to check out around Salmon and along our route to Glacier. They are surrounded by conservation land and farms, so if you like to get out and hike, this is a great HipCamp for you. Positives: * Level spot on grassy gravel for our 35’ rig * Very close to the river * Great scenery and views on the property * Solid 2-3 bars LTE Verizon * Incredibly nice and charming hosts * Lots of wildlife - lambs, dogs, cats, birds, fish, ducks, geese, etc * National forest across the road for hiking * Great trail to river that was lit at night * Great campfire spot by the river * Beautiful views over the river of the mountains * Great fishing Potential improvements and things to know: * Would love a view of the river from the RV spot * No power, water, or gray water (yet, they said they may put these in the future)
