Little Cottonwood Group Campground

Nestled in between rugged stone walls and thickly wooded spruce & fir cover, the Little Cottonwood Group Campsite is a private place for a group of 40 to make believe they’re homesteaders for a weekend. Here at 5700 feet elevation, you’ll be grateful for the access to drinking water on-site, and the food storage vaults available for bear protection. The Snake River is just down the hillside below your site, and is a destination for whitewater rafting or canoeing. If you drive about 30 miles you’ll hit the ski resort town of Jackson, a great place for lunch or to re-up on supplies for your campsite kitchen and fire pit Iron Chef battles. Also about a 30-45 minute drive away is Grand Teton National Park, great for catching some ridiculous mountain scenery. At Little Cottonwood’s high elevation, you’ll wake up to a fog blanketing the forests and feel like you’re waking up inside a cloud.
