We had a great stay at Mountain River’s. The hosts were welcoming and showed us to campsite. Our dogs loved the swimming hole on the property. It was a great way to cool them down on a hot day. We couldn’t have asked for more from our hosts.
I loved this campground, little hidden gem for sure! The amenities were nice, they had a small swimming pond with canoes, life jackets, etc all for the guests to use! Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. Cabins, glamping tipis and rv/tents sites available. Very close to a river great for fishing and watching sunsets ! The hosts were great & kept the property very nice and clean ! My kid had a lot of space to run around without worrying about heavy traffic! overall, i would love to come back someday.
only con: the bathrooms need benches or a changing table just anything to be able to dry/dress babies or place items on while showering inside the shower stalls.
Arrived and there was a family reunion going on and it ran late. camp host couldn't find my booking. found eventually. Fire fire ring useless unless you want to set fire to your RV. The host Jack was pleasant helpful and understanding of our break down on the RV. A good guy
