Description

There is nothing more romantic than a cabin getaway in the wilderness, just you and that lucky someone, and Muddy Guard Cabin has romance written all over it. This solitary log cabin was built by the CCC in the 1930s as a Forest Service Guard Station. Today, it embraces campers who want to get away and enjoy the drop-dead-gorgeous scenery of the high mountain peaks and meadows sprinkled with wildflowers. Hiking, biking, and horse trails are abundant in the area, and your horses are welcome at the cabin, just not in the cabin.
