Quiet, secure, well kept, slept like a baby. Bathroom and shower are fantastic, but the property is the rockstar. I wish I slept like this at home. We will most definitely be back
Past trip
in The Meadows at Isleton, CaliforniaPark to camp, hike to the tap room!
The Meadows never disappoint. Quiet, safe, park your car or set your tent knowing the sun comes up over the ballpark. No way I stay here without a trip to the Mei Wah tap room. Pack food, go meet Isla, and enjoy an amazing experience.
Past trip
in The Meadows at Isleton, California2nd time here, even better this time. Quiet camping, gorgeous sunset towards the windmills and enjoyed an outdoor shower at sunrise. Also, highly recommend walking to town, grabbing a zombie sandwich at The McBoodery and eating it with a couple beers at Mei Wah Beer Room. A+ PS there's a working sink, outdoor shower, and a portable toilet. Yes, a portable toilet. No secret. So don't book a spot knowing it to be a fact and then complain there's only a portable toilet in your review.

I cannot recommend the Leisure Street Winery enough to future hipcampers. Everyday we tasted delicious wine, snacked on a charcuterie board, played cornhole, chatted with other guests and the amazing owners Rick and Kelly, heard love music, watched the sunset, and fell sound asleep to the chatter of the frogs. It was an easy place to get to for us with a 32' RV and a very hard place to leave only because we had such a nice weekend. We will surely be back when our supply of wine runs out!
Rick hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.

in The Meadows at Isleton, CaliforniaWe will be back!
Had a great weekend here, spaces are huge and slept well each night. Woke to the sounds of birds,
each morning and I mean a lot of birds. Downtown Isleton is worth the trip, although it was way too hot to walk this weekend. Doug is a great host, super friendly and checked on us each day. We will most definitely be back!
