Poplar River Rustic Campground

Feel like you’ve had your share of lakeside camping? Come on down to Poplar River. This campground is snuggled up to the edge of the river, and some of the sites have direct water access. That means you can roll out of your tent in the AM, and get in some trout fishing right then and there. Not too shabby, ‘eh? If you come during autumn, you’ll be amazed by the vivid fall foliage that blankets the area, thanks to the abundance of quaking aspen trees. And, while these sites aren’t technically for RV use, two of the four spots are over 21 feet in length, and you just might be able to squeeze on in.
