Beautiful, secluded property and lots of stars to be seen from here. Cold weather, strong winds, and my late arrival prevented me from walking her 60 acres. Very quiet. No cars, planes to be heard. Lots of history surrounding this property so it's a must place to stay if you are a history buff. Property is also very rustic and off grid which is what I was looking for. Virginia is very personable and I enjoyed talking with her. Hope to return again soon.

Beautiful , Peaceful Getaway
From start to finish , this was one of the most enjoyable camping trips I have ever had.
With a warm welcome from the host , we were shown the campsites thoroughly. (And given an option to choose where to set up , as we were the only ones camping that night. ).
A more secluded stream /waterfall site or a spot in the field next to the amazing cabin. You could tell the host put lots of extra effort into setting up the campsites. And she was SOOO friendly! And for history buffs, this land actually had a very interesting backstory.
The land is SO beautiful. There is seriously so much potential at this location. I 100% will be back , and with more people.

Hidden Gem and Gracious Host
We camped in the field by the old cabin and it was fantastic! We had a small group and PLENTY of land to stretch out and play. Super secluded and perfect for our animals (the two legged and 4 legged ones 😂). We had fresh quartz stream water to use for our dishes, portable shower, and boiling. It was so perfectly accesible! We were also next to the outhouse which was fully stocked with TP, cleaning wipes, and sanitizer. Virginia was the MOST gracious and welcoming host! We had plenty of firewood ready at our site, and fresh eggs. She shared the history of the land and all the hidden spots to hike to!! The kids and the dogs LOVED the little waterfall, it was fantastic to splash off in the cold creek after playing in the hot sun. Virginia made us feel very safe and at home. You can tell she loves the land and sincerely enjoys sharing it with others. We had a pretty good size rain on our second night and Virginia came to give us a heads up of the storm and made sure we were all good. The cool old cabin really came in handy when the storm came blowing in and it itself was super neat. A lot of old stuff left behind, the kids liked pretending it was spooky hahah!
This is a great spot for couples or groups! We checked out the creek side site which was a very short through the woods and super secluded as well. It was smaller, I’d say 2-4 people max. Both sites had fire ring and picnic table as well!
Thank you so much Virginia! We hope to return soon!

Great experience!
We had a great time camping at Virginia’s Farm. Our spot was quiet and secluded. We were unable to drive our truck right up to the campsite but a wagon was provided so we loaded up our gear and walked to the site. It’s maybe a two minute walk. The site is right next to a creek with a waterfall. Firewood and fresh eggs were provided. We were also gifted two goose eggs from Virginia. We highly recommend this place. Virginia was an excellent host. Friendly and hospitable. Great communication before and during our stay. You can tell she really loves her land which gave us a greater love for it too.

Gorgeous slice of nature
I was so impressed by Virginia and her beautiful land. The (drinkable!) creek, quartz quarry, primitive camping, antique structures, and rolling hills provide enough expanse and intrigue to help me feel immersed in nature — reconnected to some of the most essential parts of who I am.
Although I stayed here solo, I was made to feel right at home: welcomed by Virginia with a basket of freshly laid eggs, some bread, and an overview of the fire pit area, which she had equipped with a small grill and more dry wood than I could even used.
This is an excellent place to sit with ones thoughts (or the passing of them). I brought an old manual typewriter and a classical guitar to fill the air with my part in the ongoing creative process we call life. I also enjoyed capturing some field recordings of the ways the land “sounds.”
Definitely look forward to coming back — alone or with people I love.
