It's a very primitive site; but for those who are equipped to stay at one, the facilities are worth the price. There is a portapotty; there was cold running water on the day when I was there; and for golfers, there is a putting green. You will need to take sponge baths, because there are no showers. The site is well off the road, behind a metal gate which keeps out casual explorers. The only drawback is that the site is very close to some railroad tracks; but trains rarely go by, and none disturned my sleep. Andrew is very helpful; but he leaves you alone unkess you need help.
I was there for the 50th Reunion of the Norwich University Class of 1973; and the university is just a short drive away.
