Pretty area but host was apparently staying out-of-reach for the night on his boat & never responded to concerns -- his son came out right at dark angrily telling us to leave but still have NOT received refund. It was intimidating and the only bad experience I've had on hipcamp.

Beautiful sunset
30 ft travel trailer · With kids ·
Joe's place was an excellent overnight stop for us. Much, much more pleasant thing staying at a truck stop. And the sunset was amazing!

Nice Host in Crossville, TN
Group trip ·
Joe is a nice guy and a gracious host. He even brought us fresh baked bread in the morning. Our parking spot was nearly level, and he is working on additional spots. Joe has several sweet dogs and a chihuahua mix, all of whom got along with our beagle. Hipcamp directions took us to the wrong place, his place is AT THE END OF WHITE OAK LANE.

Super Friendly Camping Opportunity
Very friendly host and family of dogs to greet! Joe shared fresh bread and made a fire for us to sit by and share stories. Would definitely stay again!
