Randy's cabin offers a serene and well-equipped getaway, with guests highlighting its beautiful scenery, privacy, and abundance of amenities like hot showers and paddle boats. The location is praised for its cleanliness and peacefulness, with a notable emphasis on the enjoyment of outdoor activities such as fishing and fire pits. Although the property is well-maintained, guests should note the limited cell service. Families have particularly appreciated the space for children and pets to roam freely.

We loved tent camping at Dry Camp 1. The location was great, close to some of our favorite trails. The property and pond were beautiful and we had no trouble finding our site. Would definitely recommend!!

What a beautiful, peaceful place. Ideal for getting away for a little relaxation. The dry camp sites were spaced well enough so that you didn’t feel like other campers were right next to you. Restroom accommodations are very clean and convenient. Firewood was provided which was a very nice surprise and bonus. I highly recommend!

My kids, 10 & 8 year old boys, absolutely loved the paddle boats and the clear lake right at the camp site. There was only 1 person for the first night and after that we had the entire lake and land to ourselves. I loved that there were on site showers and black water/ grey water dumping on site included in the price of the stay. I aould recommend to anyone looking to get away.

First off, I must tell you what Randy (host) did for us before we arrive. There had been a great deal of rain in the area before our arrival and more on the way during our two-night stay. Randy was concerned about Dry Camp 1 being too muddy for us. He offered to put us in RV2 during our stay for no extra charge. I accepted and thanked him for having our well being in mind. The Ole Place is beautiful with a pond and very secluded. You will enjoy quiet nights there with wonderful views of the night sky. We were the only campers there mid-week in February. The site was gravel and very level. He even had some split wood out for a camp fire. It was a great base for us to explore areas around the Greater Chattanooga area such as Fall Creek Falls State Park and Ruby Falls. The road, Kelly Creek Road, going to The Olde Place is paved but with many potholes. So take is slow. It won't add any time to your trip. You may even see herds of deer and turkeys like we did. While we didn't meet the host directly, we appreciated his hospitality and kindness. We would recommend this place to anyone.
