We are located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. It is a great spot for scenic photography, a base to explore the many hikes and climbs from in the surrounding National Parks. This site is located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. Note: This site does not have any toilet or shower facilities so you will need to be a self-contained camper and bring your own. You can bring your own firewood from local service stations or other sources to be used in the firepit. Bring your hiking gear, your mountain bike and definitely bring your camera as the views are stellar. The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape. They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away. This site is located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. Stunning stay under Mt Coonowrin
9 ft Class B
Beautiful stay under Mount Coonowrin over-looking the mountain and its surrounds. Lucious green bushland, countless birds and birdsong and minimal light pollution allowing star gazing at its best! Large firepit area and tank water - what more do you need. Would absolutely stay again, thank you for having me.

Mtn view
39 ft travel trailer
Great views of Coonoowrin Mtn. Hosts were very nice and friendly. Tank water available (I didn’t use any but it was nice that it was available) and an added bonus of free WiFi. The only downside was that it was about 100m from the road and there was road noise during the week from about 5:30 am to about 7:30 pm.
