The Old piggery is located in the back corner paddock of our 36 acre property. It has enough space for 4 caravans/campers. To ensure you have the entire fenced paddock to yourselves we have listed it as one site. It is a flat shady site with an undercover bush kitchen and fireplace. There is also a seasonal creek with many species of wildlife. Located close to popular tourist locations - Mooloolaba Beach, hinterland, The Big Pineapple, Aussie World, Australia Zoo (all within 20 min drive). Guests will have access to a toilet and shower during their stay. We have cattle on the property so please ensure gates are kept closed at all times. Kangaroos are regularly sighted on our property. Price is per person so please include the correct number of guests in your booking. We only take one booking at a time so you are guaranteed exclusive use of the site and facilities. Firewood can be collected from the paddock for free. Pre-packed firewood is available for purchase at the site. Please advise your eta so we can greet you and show you to the site. Old Piggery

The Old Piggery campsite is in a very beautiful location. The handover and handling of the pitch was very uncomplicated and friendly. The peace and quiet, the wild animals and domestic animals in the vicinity and directly on the site are really fantastic. Sanitary and shower facilities are available, but very simple and functional. The price would have led one to expect better.

Place was great for a little get away trip. only 30 drive there and still very secluded. Made good use of the bbq and campfire. Will be back again!

Quiet secluded with amenities

Great place close to Sunshine Coast. Private site away from anyone else with nice flushing toilet. Nicely maintained grassy paddock, very peaceful. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be away from any other campers.

As much as it was private and spacious we can't give a good review due to the dog on the property biting one of us and getting on the table and going through our stuff and biting hole in our dishdrops and knocking down stuff that we left while we were out. Had to get owner down a few times which wasn't a problem for them. Once to get lights to work and then to get a bit of warm water for the shower but didn't work again next time we tried it. Summer would be best time to go as wind blows through floor boards under shower and through window opening. Owners were nice though but need to have dog tied up as dangerous
