Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A beautiful grassy paddock with shady trees, amazing scenery and a night sky to die for. Its fenced off from the farm and is only 2km from Godwin beach, 1k from Sandstone Lakes and just a short drives from Sandstone point hotel and Bribie island.
If you like the farm life there is plenty of cattle, or chickens and horses to check out.
There is plenty of activities to do such as; fishing, walking tracks, shopping centers and more.
Loved the limited camp sites. Hipcamp was quiet during our visit. Road nearby was a little noisy but not too bad. Grass needed mowing but may have been a busy period. Visits from chooks and magpies were a treat. Good value for money and enjoyed our stay. Would stay again for a night or two.
Couldn’t even spend the night due to the grass being so long (we have a puppy and it was way taller than her), good luck trying to get a refund from the app or the host - completely ignored after stating they will fix it. We’ve been waiting for over a week and nothing has been done. Don’t waste your time or money here - mosquitoes galore too
Very good campsite, beautiful little area and was very clean, is close to the sandstone point hotel so recommend if you’re going to a concert or such at that venue and need a place to stay overnight.
Loved the open space and the distance between each camper . Our grandson enjoyed meeting the visiting chickens and cows. We also loved the private camper fire and how close we were to Bribie Ilsand for a day trip. We did however find the mosquitos a bit to much which is something you need to be prepared for.
