Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. The perfect spot for a weekend away
Tent · With kids
We had so much fun during our stay. It's the perfect spot to get away for the weekend with friends. We had a group of three families, including seven kids, and everyone had so much fun. The kids loved collecting kindling for the fire, visiting the dam to see the pigs and petting Smudge the goat. Paul and Tracey are wonderful hosts. They have done a fantastic job with the bathroom and kitchen facilities and keep everything so well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Amazing hidden gem
Tent · With kids
Such a great little hidden gem. Nice to feel so far away when really you aren’t. The hosts are so wonderful and accommodating and the animals are the perfect touch!! The facilities are beautifully clean whilst also still maintaining a camping charm. I did think there was a dam for swimming but was unable to easily locate it.
