Camping on what was once an 18-hole golf course offers plenty of space and privacy between sites, with stunning river views and a peaceful atmosphere. Most guests highlight Anthony as an exceptional host, providing firewood and personal guidance to ensure a comfortable stay. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities and the serene environment perfect for recharging. While the natural beauty and Anthony's hospitality are praised, some guests mentioned the lack of shower facilities as a minor downside.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Anthony was a wonderful host. The property does not currently have running water, but portable toilets are available. Easily accessible for us with our truck camper. We would visit again!
Place on what used to be a 18 hole golf course there were ample places to camp with great separation between sites. We ended up with awesome river view. A bounty of firewood was supplied to keep of the night's chill. Our stay was very peaceful last minute getaway.
I loved tent camping on Anthony's land. He met us upon arrival and guided us to our campsite. He supplied us with some firewood and gave us some background on the location (ex-golf course). The sites were big and open with a firepit and table/chairs. Porta-potty was spotless and overall the area was very peaceful and perfect for camping. I would stay again if i was back in the area.
