I booked site thru Hip Camp. My account was charged, and I got notification from Hip Camp that all was good. Owner of rental then texted me and said I could not stay there, that he had closed rentals beforehand and had notified Hip Camp to disable listing. Further more, Hip Camp charged me 37.48, but only refunded 31.50. You owe me 6 dollars

The Perfect Location
35 ft fifth wheel · With pets
Sometimes you want to get away to the woods where no one will bother you but, sometimes you need to be close to town to get stuff done. I am currently in transition from being a full time home owner to a full time 5th wheeler. I needed a spot that was close enough to the city so I could continue to work towards selling my house while downsizing and moving into the trailer full time.
This pad is in a really nice neighborhood where I feel perfectly safe living alone with my cat and dog. The spot is also close to lots of nature; parks, trails, and the river are all within walking distance. There is even a street lamp at the end of the driveway that helps with being able to see things easily at night. If you have a security camera on your rig, no additional lighting is needed for it to capture the surrounding area.
For reference I have a 35' 5th wheel that I pull with a 2500 Ram. The pad itself is a little uneven and leveling blocks are required even if you have an automatic leveling system. There is a 30amp hookup and then a 20 amp outlet (similar to one you would have in your kitchen). I have been fine with power but I did switch my water heater and fridge to propane for the summer since my rig has 2 AC units. This allows me the freedom to have both my ACs running and use one other 12V appliance without flipping the breaker. I do also have a washer/dryer so on laundry days, I run some extension cords out to the 20amp. The water is clean and delicious as well.

Overall good experience. Quiet neighborhood and convenient hook-ups. The spaces are right next to one another, so depending on the vehicles, it could get pretty tight.

22 ft Class C
Nice looking spot with full hookups. We only used electric. A bit of a slope, but we managed with blocks. Would work best with camper vans with 2 spaces. We have a class C that's 8' 4", was tight with the Ram Van parked next to us. Even with that, nice clean and quiet. Trolly bike/walking path just around the corner. We walked down to a nice park, no cars!
Charles was very friendly and accommodating.

Convenient for a visit to Portland
19 ft travel trailer
Charles' place is in a nice neighbourhood, and close to the transit station. The driveway had quite a slope to it, but we managed okay in our 20' trailer. We never actually saw our host during our two night stay, so can't comment on that aspect.
