Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Off-leash friendly

Pets can be off-leash at this Hipcamp.

Mostly woods and meadows. Lots of wildlife and birds. Campfires are welcome. Bring well behaved pets and be respectful. Children are welcome. Acoustic instruments are encouraged. We don't have bathroom facilities. Primitive camping only. Please clean up and leave the campsite in good order. Happy day!

I actually had to cancel my reservation due to the weather, but Karen graciously refunded the full amount even though I didn’t cancel until 3 hours after check in time. I can’t vouch for the campsite itself but I appreciate the thoughtfulness and consideration of the host. Gerald K.

Nice pocket off the highway tucked in the back of a neighborhood. 🏆Can't beat the price and the hosts don't get any better. Trust me, I've been to 100+.

Dayton best kept secret

Perfect secret getaway spot. Within few minutes of all major highways. Very quiet and amazingly pleasant host. Would recommend to my mama if she went in the woods.
