Welcome to our hobby farm, with a pretty creek running through the lush green acreage. Along with our primitive camping areas, we have an outdoor petting zoo, that kids will love. We also offer holistic music tuition and are a counseling-accredited venue. We have 100 fruit trees, a very wealthy veggie garden, herbs, poultry, sheep, and beef. Wake up to fields of native birds and wallabies. We love animals, so your dog is welcome too! There is a swimming pool you are welcome to use at your leisure and a toilet and shower you can access. The property is 20 min walk to the train station, and the local pub, post office, and shops are just a 7-minute drive away. There is so much to delight kids here. They can feed the goats, sheep, ducks, pigs, chooks, turkeys, and guinea pigs! They can meet Brownie the horse, help care for the baby chicks, and hunt for chook eggs! They can feed the baby ducks and turkeys and socialize with the geese! We have various equipment you can hire, including golf clubs, bbq, chairs and tables, and push bikes. For the family we can organize coits (a traditional Aussie hoop game) and a True Blue Aussie damper or doughboys for you to cook in the fire (all you need to bring is some flour). Dean was very welcoming, kids had a great time feeding the animals the first day we got there. Our site was down near the creek, walking distance to pool, nice and quiet place, 10 minutes to general store in Paterson. Overall was a nice weekend away, cheap with friends

Great escape close to Hunter

We loved camping at Dean’s! The place is within 1 hour of all Hunter wineries, but still feels private and secluded in forest. Dean has all necessities - toilet, shower, power. The camping spots are flat and there is plenty of room to spread around the paddock. In the morning it is only the sounds of nature and animals. Dean has rabbits that you can hold, horse Brownie, goats and goose you can feed and interact with. We had great time relaxing in front of the campfire and interacting with animals. Will come here again! Дуже сподобалось у Діна, ділянка чиста та плоска, легко розкласти намет. Є електроенергія (розетки), туалет та душ. Багато классних тварин яких можна нагодувати :) Також це місце всього за годину до виноробень що є дуже великий плюс. Точно приїдемо сюди ще раз 👍🏻

Great Camping with our pet dog !!

We had an absolutely wonderful time camping at Dean's Green Paddock! The campsite itself was full of farm animals, secluded, well-maintained and perfect for our dog, Turbo. The host, Deano, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Pool was well maintained and fun. Turbo had a blast exploring the surrounding area and enjoyed the off-leash opportunities. The campground was clean and well-equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, clean restrooms. We highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and dog-friendly camping experience. Deans camp site was a lovely an affordable place to stay. He was a very kind and welcoming host who allowed you time to go feed to horses and goats along with holding the bunny rabbits. I highly recommend this site

We had the best time at Dean's Paddock. The kids loved the animals (especially the bunnies), and we received a warm welcome from Dean. The site was flat for our camp and had a firepit set up for us to use. Dean invited us to take from the produce grown at the farm and we enjoyed some delicious fresh veg. The facilities were ample and very close to our site. Very few places offer the relaxed vibe of old school camping these days. No rules or regulations at Dean's... just be respectful and leave the place as you find it (or better). We'll be back.
