High Desert spot near Navajo Dam
Good spot near the lake. Pretty level and private. Gabe was available for questions and called to check on us. Was hot so very valuable to be able to run the generator later than you normally can at campsites- there was no one else around to care. Family had a good time.

Not The Best
It wasn't what we were looking for -- pretty close to the road and nothing really to recommend it -- so we left after 15 minutes and found another campground. But it is very close to the lake if that's your number one priority.

Definitely worthwhile for a van/small camper. Easy drive to the Juan. Very amenable host willing to provide what’s left behind.

Excellent Site
Super peaceful and quiet. Nestled among the pinons. A nice level gravel pad to park your rig. 15 minutes away from the Navajo dam, so a great way to get away from the crowds if you are fishing the San Juan river. Host Gabe could not have been more accommodating.
