Pull out spot on the highway.
7 m Class B · With kids
The guy in the bike shop was nice. But overall, I’ve no idea what we paid for. I wasn’t expecting much from the reviews, but it was even less than I was expecting. It’s not a camp spot. Or a private spot of any type. It’s not a thing. You’re just parking next to a building (Not even in a quiet spot behind it), in a pullout a few inches from the noisy highway. Others were also parked a few feet away off the highway, but without paying anything. For $58 after taxes and fees I feel we just made a donation to the bike shop. Sort of like paying somebody to breathe the air around you that is there anyway. Wouldn’t do it again. Maybe if they put a fence around it or had some kind of facilities to offer. I’m embarrassed I paid to stay here. If you’re looking for peace of mind that you’re not gonna get knocked on to move at 2 AM, it may be worth it. But don’t expect anything more.

Cool adventure setup
Tent · Group trip
This is a super cool set up! I brought in some homies from out of town and Surock hooked us up with great mountain bikes, and even drove five of us to the top of the trailhead. Fair warning, the campsite is pretty bare bones, and it’s right next to the highway, but that didn’t really bother us cause we were mostly there for the mountain bike experience and a place to sleep. Also, was fairly windy there when we were there, which is prob somewhat typical since it’s on top of the mountain. But overall, such a fun experience couldn’t recommend it enough, for the proximity to sick trails, and the gear set up that comes with your stay. Felt like such a good deal for our crew. Surock is also a chiller, very responsive, and really cares about the business (he’ll be the person you’ll be interacting with). 5 stars

Super Fun Mountain Biking Camping!
7 m travel trailer · With kids
Super awesome host. So kind and generous. Gave us water bottles, water hose to use to get water for our outside shower, let us charge our ebike, shuttled us to one of the upper trails, even offered to let us demo their bikes. Can’t beat the location with mtn bike trails right off the camp site. Half an hour to Tahoe, half an hour to Reno. Definitely recommend!

Mountain Bike Get-away
7 m Class B
A very good option for mountain bikers. Sites are no-frills parking spots beside the bike shop, but a great starting point for riding the downhill trails right across the road, and an easy 15 minute drive down into Incline Village (where we booked a shuttle for the incredibly scenic Flume bike trail, highly recommended). Surock was a wonderful host, even shuttling us up to the Tamarack trail and getting us pointed in the right direction, and helping me fix my tubeless tire and providing spare supplies from the bike shop for a very reasonable cost. An enjoyable and memorable stay!

Nice stay with some great mountain biking right by the campsite. Surock was great with offering shuttle rides to the top of Tamarack mountain biking trail. Surock also had a bunch of tips and recommendations for other trails depending on experience and interest level. Would stay here again.
