Too cold to camp??? NOT HERE!! We have propane heater avail to rent!! OR spend the night in our new Glamping Tent where you'll be toasty warm!! We sit on 130 acres of primarily pasture over looking Washoe Valley and Washoe Lake. Olde LYFE Alpacas offers visits with the animals, including an organized 60 min Peaceful Walk with an alpaca where you’ll experience them up close. To book an experience, go to www.oldelyfealpacas.com. There is a small retail store on site with a variety of products made with alpaca fiber, including the most delightful alpaca socks!! The ranch store is self serve mostly. There are price sheets and payment methods listed!

A little slice of heaven.

This place is amazing. It was a real pleasure staying on the farm and waking up surrounded by beautiful, well cared for, friendly animals. My dogs enjoyed the freedom too. We will be back for sure.

So many alpacas!

Stacey communicated very well before we arrived and gave us a ton of info. While we were there, she was happy to show us around, answer all of our questions and even gave us a complimentary bag of feed to give the alpacas. There were so many alpacas! They were all so curious and friendly and made the stay so special! In the morning we even got to see them migrate to a different part of the farm right past our camper. It was so obvious that every animal on the farm was not only cared for, but truly loved by Stacey. We can’t wait to go back and see Stacey and her alpacas again and can’t recommend this stay enough!

Had such a wonderful time staying here!! Waking up to Alpacas was such a unique experience and definitely a highlight of the road trip I’m on!!! Highly highly recommend it’s worth it.

Stacey and crew were absolutely amazing! She was quick to respond, incredibly nice & helpful. The spot was gorgeous, maybe a few other people at the camp but all of our neighbors were awesome! There were incredible mountain views and we watched an amazing sunset over the mountains with alpacas next to us… a trip we will not soon forget! We had a short stay while passing through, but we will definitely be back! Thank you again for having us!

Loved it so much. Animals are so cute and curious, watch out they might come and check things you leave outside out. Beautiful veiw of the valley from the sites. Host was fantastic and so nice.

Waking up with alpacas!

Staying on an alpaca farm for a night was great! I’m a huge animal person (veterinarian) and it was so nice to wake up to farm animals outside my door. The outdoor toilet (porta- potty) was super clean. The alpacas were so fun to feed. Super quick and easy spot. Had a great stay!
