Lost Paddle and Pole is conveniently located between Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Lost Paddle and Pole is great for a quick night while passing through, or as a base camp while exploring Glacier Park, Whitefish, and the north end of Flathead County. Please contact us to check on pet status, having fires, trailers, or other questions. Thanks, Don and Bree
The campsite offers a cozy and convenient place to stay, with many visitors appreciating its proximity to local attractions like Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Guests often mention the yurt as a highlight, enjoying its warmth from the heater and the comfort of provided amenities. Don, the host, is frequently praised for his helpfulness and local recommendations, enhancing the overall experience. However, some guests noted the road noise from the nearby highway, which could affect light sleepers, but the clean facilities and easy access outweigh this minor inconvenience.
We stayed in the yurt and it was perfect. They have a double sized mattress and a cot. It was ideal for our family of three. The electric fireplace kept it toasty. The outdoor fire pit was also a great experience.
The yurt was really cute and the hosts were so nice. They set up a fire in an outdoor stove for us, which was lovely to come back to after a long day. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a power source for lights and heat (and to charge our devices). My kids and I loved it.
This yurt was awesome. Perfect for a quick stay. The heater came in handy as the nights are getting cooler now. The yard is well kept and in a great location just off the highway. Also appreciated the bonfire Don had made us before we arrived!
