Bench overlooking the stream for a serene spot to chill and enjoy the wood ducks. Snowmobile trail crosses the field during winter months. Appleton is farming area as we are surrounded by small working farms and folks who live off the land. "Rustic Pines" is a perfect location for a getaway, yet close enough to the mid-coast area (Belfast, Camden, Rockland areas) to visit the local attractions (plenty of hiking, boating, biking and swimming in the area) and then slip away to the woods and relax with a ride in a horse-drawn buggy from the local farm down the road. How cool is that?Come on back into the Maine woods and park next to the bunkhouse/cabin for the ease of your camping experience. The smell of the forest on a rainy day or the sight of the sunlight dancing thru the pine trees are enough to send one’s senses reeling.
