Bethany’s spot was a perfect way to experience camping in Maine in the Fall. The eggs she left us were amazing. And the fire was perfect during the cold night and early morning. The spot is secluded enough and feels faraway from the bustle of the town or other houses. Bethany was a generous host and her and her husband gave us amazing hiking and sight seeing tips for Acadia National Park. Without them, we would have missed some incredible hikes and sights.

Great location from which to enjoy the Maine coast. The site has everything a camper needs including wonderful views of the Milky Way at night and farm fresh eggs in the morning. Grateful to Bethany for the hospitality!

Worth the stay! Great people. QUIET spot. Way more peaceful than a campground.

Bethany was very hospitable and the site was lovely! A good ways away from the home and road. Exactly what we were looking for. The eggs they provided were seriously the best tasting eggs I’ve ever eaten.

What a wonderful, peaceful, remote yet close-to-everything campsite this is!! We wanted somewhere near Belfast / Penobscot bay area to put our tent and we could not have found better spot. Bethany's directions were very clear, and upon arriving she walked over greet us. We talked about her great homestead/farm which you essentially share with your campsite, the beautiful eggs we ordered were on the table along with 2 big jugs of fresh water - really nice touches. At the time we were there, there weren't many animals, but Bethany talked about getting a cow again, and she and her family were considering other options in addition to the many chickens. It's a beautiful little farm. The campsite itself is in the woods, great fire pit with tons of wood cut and available, a larger jug of rainwater for washing set up conveniently on a stump, and there was even a new gas grill available though we didn't use it. A Compost toilet in a cute little building with a few books is right next to your site. This is really an excellent and well maintained camp site. We will absolutely be coming back again when we pass though the Belfast area!!!! Highly recommended!

Bethany was very nice and attentive. She left us complementary spring water and fire wood. She also made sure to give us directions to the campsite so we wouldn't get lost. The site itself was very nice and the pit toilet was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely camp here again if I was in the area.
