We are located in Coastal Downeast Maine about 1hr 15min from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Tucked away in the woods and surrounded by hundreds of acres of pristine woodlands, our property offers a secluded and tranquil retreat. Enjoy the peace and quiet of nature while being just a short 15-minute drive from beautiful coastal beaches, many lakes, and several hiking trails.
Bring your bikes. We're right off the Downeast Sunrise Trail and Old Rt1 Bike Trail.
Choose your stay from a variety of accommodations: A cozy French Style A-frame Cottage, a few primitive camping site for pitching your tent, and a few gravel pad sites for your RV/Van, Truck, or Car Camper. Enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of our secluded, wooded property.
Camp out among wild blueberries at our peaceful, off-grid primitive campsite. You can pick these delicious berries in late July and August. Bring your binoculars to enjoy birdwatching and wildlife sightings in this serene, wooded setting. Wake up to the soothing sound of birds chirping all around you.
Our 41-acre wooded property offers several cleared spots, making it ideal for camping.
We typically greet guests upon arrival and show you where to your site. Since it gets quite dark at night, arriving before sunset will make finding your accommodations much easier.
For additional amenities, there are a couple of gas stations nearby with restrooms and food. The Irving Gas Station, located about 4 miles away, is open 24 hours. A small grocery store is also just a mile or so up the road.
Our gravel drive ensures easy access for any vehicle, and there's a designated parking area with the tent site just a few feet away.
Children and pets are welcome. Come and enjoy a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature.
If you’re looking for a remote site, this is it! Easy access to Route 1 but far enough away to not get any noise — just us, the crickets and the birds. Patricia was very good communicating with us, and we had no problem maneuvering our 32’ Class A into and out of the site. We had a relaxing stay, just whatever wanted!
We loved that the tenting area was very quiet and secluded. Our host responded promptly and was always available for questions. That it is not far from Route 1 was a bonus. We would come again!
Patricia’s A-frame was the cutest little spot for a weekend get-away! It was clean and cozy - perfect for us and our two dogs. We sat by the fire all night and spent the morning sitting on the porch with the pups playing on the site. Patricia was super responsive and made us feel so welcome! I would highly recommend this cute little place to anyone checking out Northern Maine!
Great off-grid and off-road camping site if you're heading Downeast! Grassy and fairly flat clearing with large fire ring, and the host made a comfortable tent-spot with hay. Quiet site off the road though accessible to Route 1. Easy & responsive communication with the host, who gave good directions & also was available to make sure we found the right spot. Of course there were lots of mosquitoes, even with a cleared spot - a good reason to duck into your tent early!
