Mountain RVing
36 ft fifth wheel ·
Devon is a gracious host and as present or absent as you prefer. The view of the valley is like music for the soul. I loved waking up to the turkey sounds in the background. The gate is much easier to traverse than it appears. We have a 36 foot fifth wheel and my husband had no problem pulling in or leaving. I would like to mention that it is very cold in the mountains. We woke up to 27 degrees and the potable water hose frozen, ie.. no coffee 😭. We have already purchased a heated hose to have on hand. The hiking trails are fantastic as they lead you through mountainous terrain, down to the creek (more like a river during our stay) with mini waterfalls and rocky outcrops. We spotted deer and heard wild turkeys. Our two large breed dogs were ecstatic in the surroundings and graciously accepted by Devon and her brother. We have already made plans to return.

Devon was very hospitable, the farm animals were fun however the Roosters crow all hours but it didn’t really bother us. The fresh chicken and duck eggs were a nice touch! It is a steep drive but we were able to get our 40’ long 5th wheel Camper in there. Most people don’t have that long of a Camper.

Car camping
16 ft car ·
My husband and I just needed a quick spot to car camp for one night. This place was perfect, and Devon is a wonderful host. We ended up having the property to ourselves, which turned out to be a nice treat - extra remote and private feeling. This was my first time using Hipcamp, and I will definitely be using it again.

I had an amazingly relaxing time at Devon’s campsite. I went Jeep camping and when I arrived she happily met me to give me a map of the land. I drove down the path to the stream and fire pit and camped there. It was a great spot and I felt welcomed and safe. Thank you Devon!

Perfect Tent Camping

We loved camping on Devon’s property. There lots of places to choose from and in a gorgeous setting with a meadow, by a creek, surrounded by forested hills. Devon was really helpful and showed us around before we selected our spot. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend a stay here
