Primitive campsite Come pitch your tent or bring your rv to"R"camp. You will be surrounded by an oak hammock and pine tree park like setting. Hear the sound of roosters in the morning. Hike through trails observe loads of live stock. Gaze into the night sky filled with stars like you've never seen. so clearly. On a full moon no flashlights are needed. Only an hour and a half from dade/broward county and 15 minutes from lake Okeechobee. All campsites are within two minutes walking of main cabin. If you are looking for an RV park with all types of amenities this is not the place for you this is an off grid property for primitive family camping. Site 3 - ""R"" camp

The best campsite

R Camp was pure magic! Our kids had a blast exploring the huge, open spaces. They loved watching the stars at night and making the fire pit. The campsite was perfect for our family, with plenty of room to spread out. The host is great, he is so friendly and helpful , making our stay even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back to this awesome place!

Site 4 - ""R"" camp

Best camping trip yet

This site was an amazing get away! It was so quiet and peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The treehouses and structures were adorable and me and my husband were amazed at the craftsmanship of them. It has a rustic homey feel to it that you don’t find anywhere else. Craig and his wife were so helpful and kind. We will absolutely be making the trip again!

"R" Wagon

What a great first experience with hipcamp! The host was responsive and very helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The wagon is utterly adorable, and the location provided plenty of room for my very active boys to run around. They didn't look at their electronics the whole time we were there and even made a new friend. There was potable water and a bathroom nearby, as well as solar charging in the wagon. I can't wait to get away to this gem again.

"R" Bunkhouse

Outdoors fun to disconnect

We stayed here 10/15-10/17. It’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy some fresh air. The host Craig was very accommodating. Fire pits next to cabins were fun to fire up and hang around with the family talking. Lots of space for playing games and for dogs to roam. Trails were nice to walk around felt like you’re in the woods. Bring warm clothes for unexpected weather and plenty of sheets/covers/pillows. Have to be prepared with mattress for cabins if you don’t like sleeping on air mattresses, they are twin so not for big people. Also, bring lots of bug spray as the mosquitoes are killer. Toilet accommodations work well. A shower would be ideal but it’s the woods and it’s camping so not a bid deal. We would visit again and bring more of the family to enjoy quality time in the outdoors. Thank you Craig for making our stay comfortable and for sharing this wonderful place with us.
