The hosts were accommodating and let us use the house shower and had a nice chat with them. It was a place to plug in for the night.

Zero communication or amenities
5 m car · With pets
Despite multiple text, phone call voicemails, and hip camp messages attempted I was unable to reach my host before, during or after check in. Check in was listed at 12pm, my first attempt was at 5pm… This caused me to be unable to use the facilities listed including bathroom, showers, WiFi, etc. This was a huge detriment to my stay and overall trip. I had nowhere else to go on such short notice so I stayed on site without any of the amenities listed, and the main reason I chose this spot. The host finally texted me back after over 4 hours from the original correspondence and I was already asleep. I attempted the bathroom code when I woke up in the morning which didn’t work. I texted the host and she took almost 3 hours to get back to me. I had already left the site 2.5 hours earlier. Unacceptable.

Lovely stay!
11 m fifth wheel
We had a lovely stay at Dana and Jason’s property! We were in Colorado Springs to trade in our old fifth wheel for a new one and Dana and Jason were very accommodating with all the switching and moving things around that was involved in moving into our new rig!

While the site did offer spectacular views of pikes peak, we were a bit surprised by the close proximity to other campers. We didn’t need power and would have been happy to park/camp further on the edge of the property. In addition our site looked directly at a trailer with two jet skis. Those could have been easily relocated. We have stayed at other Hipcamps for half the price which offered more space, more privacy and hospitality then we experienced here.

Group trip
We stayed here for the Perseid Meteor Shower and had a great time. Dana was a great hostess and was quick to answer any questions.
