Rustic beauty
I didn't realize that I had the whole place. It was a rustic charm. Somewhat basic but it had everything I needed and a level of adventure that I really enjoyed - like showering outside (beautiful even though the air was cold!), making dinner over a grill at the the bottom of the yard, eating plums from the garden and enjoying a little tv at the end of a day of walking. Really lovely. I especially loved the oracle decks and books - I enjoyed starting my day pulling a card over breakfast outside. The bed is a little unusual - seems to be a little hill and slump but I can normally sleep anywhere. I think something about the energy is different up there as sleeping was very strange. Like I'd had caffeine. I didn't mind the trains - they're quite far away really, compared to other places I've read reviews of. It does vibrate the bed but it's not loud. You'll be surrounded by trees and nature - gorgeous baby squirrel on my last morning - and so close to the Sacramento Headwaters for the most beautiful water straight from the source. Take an empty bottle with you.

Mt Shasta Sanctuary
With pets
A lovely lovely getaway on this beautiful property! This space was perfect, with a fenced in dog yard, a backyard with table seating and bbq w/propane, the barn itself had everything we needed to feel really comfortable, especially being on the road. The outdoor shower is a dream as well! So spacious!! Mt Shasta is right there on the horizon, the yoga space is gorgeous, would have loved to host a group there! Lots of attractions nearby as well!
